The Process

The Realist Process

Your Realist Coach will walk you through the following steps:

What am I feeling?
  • Become aware of your feelings
  • Locate the feeling in your body
  • Welcome and feel your feelings
  • Acknowledge that it's normal to not be at your best

  • Notice what dramatic things you are telling yourself when triggered
  • What is your inner "pessimist" saying about the situation or your future?
  • What's your inner "judge" saying about you or others?

What is true?
  • Tell the truth about the situation — the Realist part of you
  • Is my self-talk 100% undeniably true?
  • If not, then what is true?
  • What is true about what you want?
  • What is true about your purpose?

What do I choose?
  • In light of the truth, drawing on your qualities, strengths and what you want, make a conscious choice
